Hello ladies and gents! This is the first post to my new Wordpress blog! I decided to make a Wordpress as well as a Tumblr because I'd gotten a few requests from readers who wanted to follow me on WP without having to make a Tumblr account. So I listened! I'm still learning so bear with me. I have lots of great things to tell you guys today so I won't chit chat any longer!

So I stopped by Pure Poison today to pick up their subscribo gift. PP make really beautiful modern jewelry so I definitely couldn't pass up a freebie! There are other group gifts in the store however the group costs 100L$ to join. Subscribos are always free to touch so by all means, go wild! The gift was this really lovely gold, silver and black necklace and I thought it was very up to date with the current multi-metal triangle/pyramid trends going around.

Also if you walk down the road a bit from PP, you'll come across a place called 'Fashion stars' and I noticed that they had a lot of Group Gifts from Livglam out if you join the FS group! There are 5 dresses in total at the store and you can pick all of them up for free!

Finally, I tried my luck on the Essences skin gacha at The Chapter Four and managed to nab myself the 'Your majesty' skin, which I traded to a sweet lady who gave me the browless version so I could still wear my light hairs! I also got this LOVELY hairband from TCF too. I've been looking for a spiked hairband at a decent price for a long while. Parthenoid's Tarot meme

Okay so along with Greek Mythology, I also love Tarot cards. I’m not a spiritual person at all though, I guess I just like the idea of psychic knowledge and magical beings.

Parthenoid has sent out a Tarot card challenge that I almost leapt at the chance to do. I chose to depict The World for no other reason than I had a shawl knocking about in my inventory that I wanted to blog  because it has a very deep meaning that I wished to portray so that my followers could see inside my emotions *Shifty*

The world, when upright represents closure and the end of a long journey but also new beginnings and the start of something new as well as victory and accomplishment. But upside-down it means unfinished business and lack of closure.

The fall of Wall Edelweiss

The Attack on Titans soldier’s uniform is free from Edelweiss along with a demo for the 3D manoeuvre system. The uniform doesn’t come with the emblem-changer HUD but it’s wearable all the same. The emblem I’m wearing above is the one belonging to the stationary guard. No particular reason for choosing it though haha.

The full version of this kit is 20% off right now and it contains the full 3D manoeuvre system, male and female uniforms with emblem changers, 2 static poses (the salute and the jump seen above) and a titan training dummy with both English and Japanese callouts.

Edelweiss has also set up a 3D gear playground for you to run around and fight in. The playground looks like the real place in the Manga/Anime and even has moving titan dummies for you to practice on if you don’t have anywhere to put your personal dummies! Unfortunately for those not fluent in Japanese, the dummies in the playground do not have English callouts but it’s simple to just run them through a translator and memorize the symbols. I believe there are callouts saying you’ve been eaten, you’ve killed the titan and you’ve attacked the titan but he didn’t die. I died a lot at first because the system definitely takes a little bit to get the hang of but very soon I was slashing up titans left and right!

So Just as Xy-zee suggested I take part in this challenge, I’d already taken pictures for that very purpose haha! Xy-Zee’s a mind-reader, everyone!

1. Do you try and keep your avatar’s body proportionate and similar to the “average” proportions pictured above? To be honest, I’d had NO idea that the average was 7.5 heads high. So I think it’s safe to say; “Nope, I had no idea what I was doing. I just like making things pretty!"


2. What do you dislike the most about the SL avatar mesh? Oh the hands and the feet, OH and the ankles OHOH and the facial lines. Thank goodness for mesh attachments otherwise I think I may go crazy with the amount of “post-production" my images would have to go through.


3. Does it bother you when you see other avatars that are not proportionate at all? It does a little bit. Especially if people sell the shapes on the MP for ridiculous prices. Like charging people 250L$ for a lady with a massive butt, huge hips, eyes so narrow they look like they’re not even open and huge botox lips. But this is SL, people can do whatever they want. It’s just something that bothers me sometimes.


4. Even though this is a virtual world and people can be anything they want to be, do you feel when they are in human form, they should try to keep their proportions close to average? Nahh. They can do whatever they want. Sure I might not like it if they look a bit…uh…interesting but I’m just one opinionated person. If you think a shape looks good then WORK IT GURL/BOI.

Here’s part 3 of my Ricielli hunt series! I decided to go back instore today and pick up whatever I missed. I didn’t even see my L$ balance! I’d spent just over 400L$ on 15L$ hunt gifts haha! It’s addictive I tells ya!

This very ornate jewelry set is a new release from Candace hudson and I thought it gave a pretty, elegant flair to this tough looking outfit. The Art nouveau set comes with this gorgeous ring and the bangle seen above.
