Okay so along with Greek Mythology, I also love Tarot cards. I’m not a spiritual person at all though, I guess I just like the idea of psychic knowledge and magical beings.

Parthenoid has sent out a Tarot card challenge that I almost leapt at the chance to do. I chose to depict The World for no other reason than I had a shawl knocking about in my inventory that I wanted to blog  because it has a very deep meaning that I wished to portray so that my followers could see inside my emotions *Shifty*

The world, when upright represents closure and the end of a long journey but also new beginnings and the start of something new as well as victory and accomplishment. But upside-down it means unfinished business and lack of closure.

The two versions here are the carded up and resized image, the one below is the full size uncarded (IT’S A WORD NOW, OKAY!?) version.

Myths & Legends - Artemis

Hooray! And so begins my mythology inspired series! Here I’m trying to recreate some well-known gods and goddesses from ancient Greek mythology in Second Life and take some pretty snaps!

To look forward to in this series is Aphrodite, Athena, Persephone, Hera,  Tethys (and possibly some of the fellas like Zeus, Ares, Hades etc. but don’t get your hopes up hehe)

And so to kick it all off, have a little Artemis! I couldn’t resist when I found this absolutely perfect outfit from Bare Rose!

So Olive has their mainstore back up and I have to say I went on a bit of a spree haha!

This cute bag is a limited edition version from the ones in their new gacha machine but if you’re a group member (fee of 100L$) then you get another version as a free gift!

Ladies' illusions

This lovely gown is a free group gift from Masoom and it made me feel very regal! They have two other gifts out along with this one at the moment so go get pretty things! The gown itself is made up of a rigged mesh base with flexi skirts and a sculpted chestpiece so it has the perfect fit of a mesh but the realistic movement of a flexi! I definitely have a new found love for gowns. Makes me feel like a queen! :D

I was sent this very pretty dress today from Just darling as one of the prizes for the ‘When pigs fly hunt’! WPF is a hunt especially for designers to step out of their comfort zones and make something they wouldn’t normally. Just Darling specializes in gorgeous flowy ballgowns and formal wear for ladies but Gabriella has set this very cute cocktail dress out as her prize!

The necklace and blindfold are both from Illusions and are so beautifully made. Illusions does lots of lovely masquerade masks as well as a lot of fantasy themed accessories too!

The fall of Wall Edelweiss

Here are the pictures I promised ;)

The Attack on Titans soldier’s uniform is free from Edelweiss along with a demo for the 3D manoeuvre system. The uniform doesn’t come with the emblem-changer HUD but it’s wearable all the same. The emblem I’m wearing above is the one belonging to the stationary guard. No particular reason for choosing it though haha.

The full version of this kit is 20% off right now and it contains the full 3D manoeuvre system, male and female uniforms with emblem changers, 2 static poses (the salute and the jump seen above) and a titan training dummy with both English and Japanese callouts.

Edelweiss has also set up a 3D gear playground for you to run around and fight in. The playground looks like the real place in the Manga/Anime and even has moving titan dummies for you to practice on if you don’t have anywhere to put your personal dummies! Unfortunately for those not fluent in Japanese, the dummies in the playground do not have English callouts but it’s simple to just run them through a translator and memorize the symbols. I believe there are callouts saying you’ve been eaten, you’ve killed the titan and you’ve attacked the titan but he didn’t die. I died a lot at first because the system definitely takes a little bit to get the hang of but very soon I was slashing up titans left and right!

Back again with another Ricielli hunt look! There serious is a huge wealth of combinations you could make with these items, they all just seem to go together perfectly. With that being said, I think I will make part 5 the last part in the series. I could go on forever, seriously but I think 5 parts is enough haha!

This time I’m mixing it up a bit with the new group gift from Little Bones (I wasn’t kidding when i said she updates often!). These cute pink and floral jeans are idea for dressing down to go shopping or even dressing up for the evening! Here’s part 3 of my Ricielli hunt series! I decided to go back instore today and pick up whatever I missed. I didn’t even see my L$ balance! I’d spent just over 400L$ on 15L$ hunt gifts haha! It’s addictive I tells ya!

This very ornate jewelry set is a new release from Candace hudson and I thought it gave a pretty, elegant flair to this tough looking outfit. The Art nouveau set comes with this gorgeous ring and the bangle seen above.
